The Kentucky Standard

This rifle evolved from the German hunting weapons and was a major rival of the Brown Bess. Typical weapon in use in the American colonies it became, thanks to its lightness and accuracy, one of the most popular American rifles. The rifled barrel is blue finished. All fittings are of polished brass. The walnut stock is oil finished.
It comes in .32, .45, and .50 calibers, percussion and flintlock. The .32 caliber has a 35 1/16" barrel with a 1 in 47 ¼"  twist and 7 grooves.  The .45 and .50 calibers have a 35 1/16” barrel with a 1 in 47 ¼” twist and 8 grooves. Overall length is 50" and weighs 6.60 lbs.

Alamo Long Rifle

This faithful reproduction of the historical rifle used by the Texas troops during the battle of Fort Alamo, for the liberation of Mexico, illustrates on the patch box engravings representing two scenes of the battle. On the upper part, the resistance of Fort Alamo, defended for 13 days by 187 soldiers against 4000 Mexicans. In the lower part, General Santa Ana’s surrender to General Sam Houston, after the San Jacinto battle, on the afternoon of April 21st 1836. It is provided with adjustable double set, double phased triggers. Blue finished octagonal barrel and walnut stock.
