Frontier Rifles

These replica, stocked in select American tiger striped maple, or European walnut, reproduces faithfully the original rifles produced during the golden age of the American long rifle (1760-1840). As with the squirrel rifles of this period, renowned for their accuracy at any range, this model reveals meticulous inletting of all metal parts to the stock and skilled hand finishing. The octagonal rifled barrel is brown finished. The rifle is provided with adjustable double set triggers. Trigger guard and butt plate are made of deeply polished brass, lock and fittings are color case hardened. The Deluxe Model comes with patch-box.
The Frontier Rifles come in .32, .36, .45, and .50 calibers, percussion or flintlock. The .32 and .36 calibers have a 39” barrel with a 1 in 47 Ό” twist and 7 grooves.  The .45 and .50 calibers have a 39” barrel with a 1 in 47 Ό” twist and 8 grooves. Overall length is 55 1/8". The .32 and .36 caliber weighs 9.70 lbs. and the .45 and .50 caliber weighs 7.27 lbs.
All Pedersoli guns come with a one year guarantee for the movable parts, a manual and a videotape showing the correct use and maintenance of a black powder gun. Spare parts are also available for each gun.

Frontier Carbine

Very light and handy, the carbine version shows the same styling characteristics of the Frontier rifles, except for weight and dimensions. It is produced with walnut stock, in both percussion and flintlock versions.
The Frontier Carbine comes in .32, .36, .45, .50 and .54 calibers, percussion or flintlock. The .32 and .36 calibers have a 28” barrel with a 1 in 47 Ό” twist and 7 grooves.  The .45 caliber has a 28” barrel with a 1 in 47 Ό” twist and 8 grooves. The .50 caliber has a 28” barrel with a 1 in 31 ½” twist and 6 grooves. The .54 caliber has a 28” barrel with a 1 in 31 ½” twist and 7 grooves. Overall length is 44 1/8 “and weighs 5.73 lbs.
