Given that there are no surviving artifacts of this weapon, exactly what it looked like is anybody's guess but evidence seems to suggest it was a very short bow. This design is based on a 56" bow made from Elm but in this case is made from linen backed Red Oak, which is very similar. It pulls between 40 and 50 pounds.
No matter what your draw length, this bow should only pulled to 20 inches or less, allowing anyone to shoot it. If you cannot pull to the full twenty inches that's okay, just draw as far as you can and release.
