Ramrod Tips

 TRESO ramrod tips have a spherically cupped end which will center the ramrod over the ball, thus preventing damage to the ball or barrel.  Tips are available in steel or brass with either 8-32 or 10-32 thread to accept standard jags and other accessories.  The 5/16” diameter tips are1 Ό” long; all others are 1 ½” long.  These tips are normally installed on a ramrod with a cross pin for secure fastening.

Ramrod Cleaning Jags

 The cleaning jags will fit the above ramrod tips and other makes with 8-32 or 10-32 threads.  Cleaning Jags are made from brass with a steel threaded stud to prevent the breakage that can occur with brass studded jags.  These jags also feature a spherically cupped end allowing the user to load without removing the jag from the ramrod.  The grooved bands around the head of the jag will firmly grip the cleaning patch

Button Jags

These brass button jags are for small diameter ramrods and cleaning rods where a tapered shank jag is not necessary for patch clearance.  The jags have a spherically cupped end to allow loading a muzzleloader without removing the jag from the ramrod.  This is the jag recommended for the Durango Gun Rod.  All jags have a steal threaded stud.

T/C & CVA Type Ramrod Ends

With one additional feature these brass and steel ramrod ends are made in the same style as the T/C and CVA ramrod ends – the ball seating end has an 8-32 female thread (except the 5/16” diameter size).  A rod made with these ends will have a 10-32 thread in one end and a 8-32 thread in the other end.  The jag adapter is designed to use a button type jag.

Combination Ramrod Tip-Jag-Bullet Pullers

The base for the combination ramrod tip has a built in steel lag screw for pulling bullets or retrieving lost patches.  A jag or cover can be screwed on the base over the bullet puller.  All parts are brass except for the steel bullet puller screw.  This is the same tips that are on the TRESO Patriot Series 82 replacement ramrods.

Bullet Pullers

The bullet puller consists of a steel bullet puller lag screw with a Ό” hexagonal collar and an attached brass disk.  The brass disc has a minimum clearance in the barrel assuring the lag screw is centered over the ball and prevented from deflecting to the side of the ball possibly damaging the barrel bore.  The hexagonal collar provides a means to remove the puller from the ramrod and/or bullet with a small wrench.  These bullet pullers are available with 8-32 and 10-32 thread.

Bullet Puller Wrench
