Kentucky Pistol

With a perfect grip and accuracy of firing, this pistol was the classical American pistol during the War of Independence and of the western pioneers. The octagonal rifled barrel is of blue finished steel and the stock is made from walnut.  It comes in .45 .50 or .54 caliber, Flintlock or Percussion. Barrel length is 10 5/16” with a 1 in 17 ¾” twist and 12 grooves. Overall length is 15 3/8” and weighs 2.20 lbs.

A superb version of the Kentucky Pistol with a curly maple stock, this traditional wood was used by the pioneers and polished according to the original formulas of the American gunsmiths. The barrel is brown finished, lock is of polished steel and all finishing is silver plated. It comes in .45 and .50 caliber, Flintlock or Percussion. This pistol, because of its long barrel that assures better accuracy of firing at long distance, was the favorite one of the Bounty Hunters. Blue steel octagonal barrel in .45 caliber with a walnut stock. It comes in Flintlock or Percussion. Barrel length is 16 9/16” with a 1 in 17 ¾” twist and 12 grooves. Overall length is 21 ¼” and weighs 3 lbs.
