Colt Navy Flask

The Colt Navy Style Flask was widely used with percussion revolvers. It comes with a fixed 30 gr. spout. The body is embossed with the "Cannon and Stand of Flags" emblem. It has a brass lever type head and holds about 8 oz. of black powder. It is used with the .44 and .36 caliber pistols.

The Colt Walker Flask was used with the Colt Walker and Colt Dragoon Pistols. The Flask comes made in Copper with the "Cannon and Stand of Flags" emblem embossed on both sides. It holds about 12 oz. of black powder and comes with an adjustable push-type spout.  A necessary accessory for you Walker or Dragoon Pistols.

The Remington flask is noted by  its embossed  hunting bird dog scene. This flask is primarily used with the .36  revolvers. It is slightly small than the Colt style and holds about 6 oz of powder. Comes with a fixed spout and made in Copper.

One of the most popular of the rifle size powder flasks. Comes in Brass. Sometimes called the "Peace Flask" because of the clasped hands inside the circle of stars over the legend "US". The design is embossed on both sides. Lanyard loops are on both sides can attach a carry strap. This flask would be correct for Civil War Muskets. It  holds about 12 oz. of black powder and comes with a 60 gr. spout for .58 caliber rifles.

The Texas Flask has a scene with Col. Travis conferring with his men at the Alamo. Comes in Copper and holds about 12 oz. of black powder. It also comes with three different spouts for .45 cal., .50 cal., and.58 cal. It has lanyard rings on both sides to attach a carry strap.

The Florentin Nettuno Flask holds about 12 oz. of black powder and comes with a spout to throw a charge for a .50 caliber rifle. This decorative flask comes in polished Brass.

The Basket Weave pattern was typical of the fancy patterns found with a fine old original English Sportsman. Comes in  Brass. Comes with a spout to throw a charge for a .44 caliber. This flask can be used for a rifle or pistol. A true sportsman flask.

The French Flask has is fluted embossed with a flower design on both sides. Comes in Bright Copper. It has a solid brass head with a 24 gr. spout. Holds about 8 ounces of black powder.

The Standard Eagle Flask is embossed with the spread eagle grasping an American Flag Shield. This is a small flask that holds about 2 oz. of black powder with a 12 gr. spout. This pocket size flask is used for .31 caliber or smaller pistols.

The Plane Eagle Flask is a small flask often used with revolvers of the Civil War period other than Colts. Made in Copper  holds about 2 oz. black powder and has a 12 gr. spout. This pocket size flask is used for .31 caliber or smaller pistols.

The Philadelphia Flask or sometimes call the Bag Flask has a smooth finish, this style has been found in cased pistol sets. Made of Copper, it has a 12 gr. spout and is used with a .31 caliber pistol or for priming powder.

Treso Powder Flask 

This cylindrical brass powder flask is 1 ⅜” in diameter by 5” long and holds approximately 3.2 oz. of black powder. The half pint flask is 2 ¾” long and holds approximately ½ the amount of the larger flask. The tops screw off both models for easy refilling. The flasks, with there flat bottoms; will stand upright on your shooting bench. Both models are available with push bottom Fast Flow valves.  These flasks are available either with a 30 grain measuring spout or a pour only spout to be used with a separate powder measure.

Flask Spouts

These replacement flask spouts will fit the above flask and powder valves and most Italian made powder flasks, except the baby size .31 caliber flasks (See special size below).  Spouts are made of brass and can be reduced in length to vary powder charge. All spout can be trimmed for a custom charge.

This is our Fast Flow powder valve fastened to the Goex Black Powder can cap.  Screw this directly onto your black powder can and use it as a ready made flask; no more inconvenience of pouring powder from can to flask or horn. Flask Spouts, listed above, can screw into this safety valve.

The “Fast Flow” Powder Valve was designed to provide a faster flow of powder and keep the physical size small.  This valve, when in the open position, has a straight-through 17/64” diameter hole for the fast flow of powder when hunting or participating in timed events.  The body of this fast-flow valve is actually smaller (9/16” diameter) than other valves resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing powder horn installation.  The valves will accept standard flask spouts and our pouring adapter.  The valve has a 3/8 - 24 thread for attachment to a powder horn or container.  Use the valve bushing for a neat installation on a powder horn.  The bushing has a 3/8 - 24 female thread and is meant to be epoxied into the horn.

Safety Valves

These two valves are the same design as our Fast Flow Powder Valve.  One has a nose designed to fit into a powder measure and the other is designed to fit the outside of a powder measure.  These valves are made to work with our series #71 fixed powder measures, our 120 grain adjustable powder measure or other powder measures with a similar inside diameter.  To operate, place measure on the valve and open valve for a moment, then withdraw measure and it will be filled level with the top.  Using this valve will prevent spillage and give more uniform powder measuring.

Designed to screw into Italian flasks of TRESO flasks and powder valves. Makes filling flasks and horns easy by holding open the shut-off valve or lever. Solid Brass.
