This all wood crossbow pulls 40 to 45 pounds at 20 inches. It is easy to string and cock. It has a 16 inch stroke which yields about 600 inch pounds and should be suitable for combat archery. The bow (prod) is 48 inches long and is made from Red Oak backed with linen. The stock is made from pine and has a channel deep enough to accommodate a vane and to shoot most 2 or 3 fletched arrows (bolts). This is a great target Crossbow and features a simple but effective side mounted release mechanism that gently and smoothly lifts the string out the notch. The string is made from 1/4 inch Sisal rope and can be easily replaced. Includes instructions and one arrow. IMPORTANT: BOW MUST BE LASHED TO THE STOCK BY THE CUSTOMER.
